Kara Alterio

Kara Shanahan Alterio, PT
Kara Shanahan Alterio, PT is a Physical Therapyist and the Partner at Bay State Physical Therapy in Brockton, MA. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy at Northeastern University in Boston at the Bouve College of Health Sciences in 1995. She completed her internships and training at Beth Israel Hospital in the outpatient Orthopedic department, Brigham and Women's Hospital working on Total Joint Replacement Research and Milton Hospital rotating in the outpatient, inpatient and transitional care. Kara prefers a more hands on approach incorporating massage, myofascial release and joint mobilization techniques. Kara works in the Abington and Brockton office treating Neurological and Orthopedic conditions.

Sean Willoughby

Sean Willoughby, PT
Sean received his Masters of Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in 2004 and has continued post-graduate training with the Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (Level 1). Sean utilizes a combination of manual techniques, therapeutic exercise, functional training and activity modification in his treatments to optimize function and reduce symptoms.

Leah Halleman, PTA                                                                                             Leah has been a PTA for 10 years specializing in outpatient orthopedic care. She graduated from Sanford Brown College in 1999 and has a BS in Recreation/Fitness and an Exercise Science minor from Southeast Missouri State University. Leah has taken many continuing education courses focusing on treatment of the shoulder, knee, hip, ankle/foot and spine. She enjoys incorporating both manual techniques and therapeutic exercise in her treatments. Physical fitness and sports have always played a major role in her life and she enjoys helping her patients reach their goals, whether they are recovering from surgery, returning to an athletic competition or participating in everyday life.

Felicia Graves, PTA                                                                                                                Felicia is a Physical Therapist Assistant and a licensed Massage Therapist who has been an employee of Bay State Physical Therapy for 6 years. She graduated from Massachusetts Bay Community College in May of 2010 as a PTA and The Muscular Therapy Institute in February 2004 as an MT. As a long time employee here at Bay State Physical Therapy I can proudly say that this is a reputably place not only for employment, but also for quality patient care.
