Adrian Blindt, PT
Adrian is a Physical Therapist and the Partner at Bay State Physical Therapy in Carver, MA. He graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Physiotherapy. He has worked as a physical therapist in the Plymouth / Carver area for 14 years specializing in the McKenzie approach to back pain and the treatment of sports injuries. He incorporates strength training for rehabilitation and injury prevention drawing on his experience as a successful competitive weightlifter. Adrian has a background in research, including a PhD in genetics prior to becoming a physical therapist.
Lauren Ruff, PT Lauren graduated from Boston Bouve' College with a Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy in 1985. Her training and interests include orthopedic rehabilitation on land and the aquatic environment for individuals with osteoarthritis and recent surgeries . She combines manual therapies with an emphasis on exercise and functional strengthening in order to meet her patient's individual goals. She enjoys treating individuals of all ages and works part time in the Carver location.
Martha Tassinari, PT Martha Tassinari graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in physical therapy in 1994. She specializes in Myofascial Release and CranioSacral therapy. She has been involved with CranioSacral therapy since 2000 and has trained with the Upledger Institute. In addition, she completed a two year Cranio/Myofascial training program with Marcia Hood at the Physical Therapy Connection. Martha utilizes a holistic treatment approach identifying the underlying cause of the symptoms and creating a safe healing environment. CST helps migraines, chronic neck and back pain, stress, TMJ, and orthopedic problems.
Alison Haas, MSPT Alison received her Master's of Science in Physical Therapy degree from Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA in 2002. Alison is a certified STOTT PILATES instructor and a certified Reiki II practitioner and has developed a unique style of treatment which incorporates pilates-based strengthening with a holistic approach to healing. The Carver location is equipped with state-of-the-art STOTT PILATES equipment including a reformer, cadillac wall tower, and split-pedal stability chair which she uses with patients of all fitness levels to achieve maximum results. Alison feels this approach is beneficial for patients with all diagnoses, particularly those with chronic neck or low back pain.
