David C. Nolan, PT, DPT, MS, OCS, CSCS David is a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Currently, he is an adjunct professor at Northeastern University in the Department of Physical Therapy as well as a Graduate Lecturer in the School of Professional and Continuing Studies in the transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Northeastern University. David is a member of the faculty for the continuing education seminar "When the Feet Hit the Ground Everything Changes" with the American Physical Rehabilitation Network and has lectured nationally on functional biomechanics, gait and lower quarter dysfunction. In 2004, he was the recipient of the "Excellence in Clinical Teaching" award from the New England Consortium of Academic Coordinators of Clinical Education. David's areas of expertise include manual therapy, spinal dysfunction, sports medicine and orthopedics. He evaluates and treats patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal diagnoses and utilizes video gait analysis to assist in biomechanical evaluation and patient education. He has worked extensively with patients with amputations, collegiate athletes, elite runners and professional dancers. David is dedicated to providing exceptional care and utilizes a hands-on approach with all of his patients. By incorporating a biomechanical approach to dysfunction and providing thorough patient education, he is able to help his patients achieve their goals and optimal functional outcomes.
Darryl Elliott, PT, OC Darryl Elliott is a physical therapist and partner at Bay State Physical Therapy in Weymouth, Boston, and Scituate. He graduated from Northeastern University with a BS in Physical Therapy in 1990. He has practiced in out patient orthopedics over the past 20 years as well as teaching at Northeastern and Boston University. Darryl now enjoys incorporating his clinical expertise and passion for teaching to mentor his staff in order to provide the best possible physical therapy experience for each patient. Darryl is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) since 1991, and Rotary International since 2002. He is the President of the Northeastern Physical Therapy Alumni Association. Other areas of interest include: Golf, skiing, basketball, cooking, and coaching his 2 young active sons in many sports such as hockey, basketball, soccer, and baseball.
