Catherine Schmidt, PT, DPT Dr. Schmidt is the clinic manager of Bay State Physical Therapy at the Kingsbury Club & Spa in Kingston, MA. She specializes in the treatment of sport related injuries; shoulder pathology; strength and conditioning; and manual techniques for treatment of neck and back pain. Her training also includes rehabilitation in the aquatic environment for individuals with chronic pain, osteoarthritis, and recent surgery. Catherine received her Bachelor's degree from Quinnipiac College in 1998; Advanced Master in Physical Therapy and Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Massachusetts General Hospital's Institute of Health Professions in 2006. She is also a teaching assistant for MGH's entry level physical therapy program.
Cheryl O'Malley, PTA Cheryl received her Bachelor of Science with specialization in Exercise Science in 1996 from Bridgewater State College. In 1999 she received her Physical Therapy Assistant Degree from Lasell College in Newton.Cheryl brings 8 years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics to the Kingston facility including assisting Physical Therapists in implementing individualized exercise programs and functional training. She specializes in manual therapy techniques that include joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization and Maitland techniques. Her interest includes post-surgical rehab and sports-related injuries. She is currently working part-time in the Kingston location.
Christy Dillon, PT Christy earned a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from Sargent College at Boston University in 1993. She previously worked in an inpatient rehabilitation setting with patients with both orthopedic and neurological diagnoses. After taking time to stay home with her children, she returned to work in physical therapy in 2008. Christy enjoys running and competing in triathlons, and likes to work with athletes with sports related injuries. She works part time in the Kingston office.

Jeanine Jernegan, PT Jeanine graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy in 1995. She has been practicing in the Plymouth/Duxbury area for 14 years. Jeanine combines manual therapy with an emphasis on exercise and functional strengthening in order to meet each of her patient’s individual goals.
Katharine Berrio, PTA, ATC Katie received her Bachelor of Science with specialization in Athletic Training in 1995 from Bridgewater State College. In 2009 she received her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Bay State College in Boston. Prior to PTA school Katie was employed as a Physical Therapy Aide for 13 ½ years in outpatient orthopedics. Her interests include aquatic therapy, sports-related injuries, and post surgical rehab.
Liz Fallon, PT Liz graduated from Quinnipiac College in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. She has experience in both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. In addition, she has been a fitness instruction for over 10 years. She understands that there is more to each patient than just his/her diagnosis. Liz enjoys working with various orthopedic injuries and strives to help each patient return to his/her optimal level of function utilizing patient education, manual therapy and exercise.
