Darryl Elliott

Darryl Elliott, PT, OCS

Darryl Elliott is a physical therapist and partner at Bay State Physical Therapy in Weymouth, Boston, and Scituate. He graduated from Northeastern University with a BS in Physical Therapy in 1990. He has practiced in out patient orthopedics over the past 20 years as well as teaching at Northeastern and Boston University. Darryl now enjoys incorporating his clinical expertise and passion for teaching to mentor his staff in order to provide the best possible physical therapy experience for each patient.

Darryl is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) since 1991, and Rotary International since 2002. He is the President of the Northeastern Physical Therapy Alumni Association. Other areas of interest include: Golf, skiing, basketball, cooking, and coaching his 2 young active sons in many sports such as hockey, basketball, soccer, and baseball

Adam Lipman

Adam Lipman, MSPT, CSCS
Adam graduated from Northeastern University in 2006 with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and has been working in the Weymouth clinic since 2006. Adam has over 10 years of competitive baseball and basketball experience, which helps him address specific rehabilitation issues of various sports and orthopedic injuries. He enjoys using functional and sport specific approaches to address each individuals injury while helping them achieve their goals.

Stephen Stokes

Stephen Stokes, PT, DPT, CSCS
Stephen Stokes graduated from Nazareth College of Rochester NY with a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy in 2005 and recently earned his doctorate of Physical Therapy in June 2008 from Boston University. He worked in a previous outpatient facility in Southern Maryland and has been with the Bay State staff at the Weymouth facility since 2007. He enjoys treating patients using a variety of manual techniques as well as functionally specific exercises for returning each patient to prior functional status.

Melanie Erickson

Melanie Erickson, PT, DPT
Melanie attended Northeastern University where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy as well as her B.S. in Rehabilitation Sciences. Her clinical experience includes outpatient orthopedics and inpatient orthopedic trauma. She treats both on land and in Weymouth's warm water therapy pool in an effort to maximize patient outcome. Melanie has ten years of cheerleading and coaching experience and uses this to aide her functional approach to orthopedic rehabilitation with an emphasis on patient education.

Wendy Beres

Wendy Beres, MPT
Wendy graduated from Boston University in 2005 with a Master's of Science in Physical Therapy. She has been working in the Boston area since graduation and joined the Bay State team in August of 2008. Wendy is interested in a variety of diagnoses but has a specific interest in post-surgical knee and shoulder patients and total joint replacements.
