Abbie S.

Location: Bay State Physical Therapy – Westborough, MA

Abbie S., PTA, is from Douglas, MA and recently moved back to MA after living in Charlotte, NC for 2 years. Abbie played D3 collegiate soccer at Colby-Sawyer College, where her interest to the Physical Therapy career sparked. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise Sciences in 2019. After 2 years working as a PT aide in a small outpatient practice, Abbie joined the PTA program at Quincy College in Plymouth, MA.

After graduation in 2023, Abbie moved to Charlotte, NC and began her career as a PTA in a SNF. A new PTA to DPT bridge program opened in East Greenwich, RI which was a reason to head back home. Abbie will graduate as a DPT in the first cohort of the RI Bridge program in 2028! In Abbie’s spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and dogs. Abbie’s favorite activities are soccer, hiking, skiing/snowboarding, kayaking, swimming, running, and strength training. She has a goal to add some more half marathons to her achievements.
