The growth at Bay State Physical Therapy has been great. I was a staff physical therapist, then a supervising physical therapist, and now I’m a clinic manager. I participated in Bay State Physical Therapy’s Leadership Development Program last year and learned how other team members grew in their roles to become Managing Partners. There are so many growth opportunities here!

Bay State Physical Therapy really values the growth of its team members. They offer in-house Continuing Education courses, which is a big plus because it means you don’t have to pay out of your own pocket. I also like to take advantage of the optional overtime coverage anytime I can. With all of our clinic locations, if you are looking to take on more hours, you absolutely can.

At Bay State Physical Therapy, I have the freedom and opportunity to truly help my patients. Unlike many healthcare settings, I love that I have dedicated time to really get to know my patients as we work together on achieving their health and fitness goals.

I started with Bay State PT as a new graduate, rose to clinic manager, and later opened a clinic as a managing partner within 6 years of graduation. Bay State has provided me with experience, opportunities, and room to grow, along with helping me complete a 1-year Fellowship and receive my OCS with full support. I am proud to be a member of an organization with a strong focus on continuing education to ensure we are providing the most quality evidence-based practice for our patients.

I have been with Bay State Physical Therapy in Arlington for approximately eight months now, and I absolutely love it here! As a recent graduate, it can be quite difficult to find a job, as many companies are not interested in hiring people with limited experience, but Bay State welcomes new graduates, and provides opportunities for mentorship and valuable hands-on experience. Through the support of my manager and co-workers, in combination with the clinic’s constructive learning environment, I have gained knowledge and confidence as a physical therapist. My passion for both the profession, and the positivity of my workplace environment, has me looking forward to coming into the clinic each day! 

Bay State Physical Therapy has truly been my home away from home since the start of my career. Climbing the ladder from new graduate, to lead PT, to clinical manager, and ultimately reaching my goal of becoming a managing partner and opening a PT practice, is something I’ve always dreamed of. Now, as a busy mom of two, Bay State Physical Therapy’s practice model and leadership team provide the support that allows me to have that work life balance that is integral to keeping the love for physical therapy in all that I do each day.

I work with all types of patients and cases which I feel keeps me more engaged mentally. I’ve had plenty of opportunity to grow both as a clinician and as a manager. Bay State also offers regular continuing education opportunities which have helped me improve my clinical skills. We have a collaborative environment and yes, it is a large company, but it does not feel that way. My clinic is a fixture of the local community and feels like a part of the neighborhood with plenty of support beyond its walls.
