Chris Carreiro, PT, DPT, CSCS

Graduate: University of Massachusetts – Lowell

Chris graduated from the University of Massachusetts – Lowell with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2019 after receiving his B.S. in Exercise and Health Science from the University of Massachusetts – Boston in 2016. Chris also received his Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) in December of 2018.  While completing his studies for his DPT, Chris completed his clinical experiences in the orthopedic outpatient, inpatient long-term acute care, and skilled nursing facility settings, treating patients with various orthopedic, cardiopulmonary, and neurological conditions along the way. Additionally, before beginning his physical therapy academic and professional career, Chris was a personal trainer. These experiences have provided Chris with a strong foundation in patient-centered care along the health care spectrum, and from which he hopes to further hone and develop his clinical skills in helping his patients achieve full restoration of their functional abilities.  Outside of the clinic, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, watching and playing sports, exercising, and playing keyboard/piano.
