Jared Winston, PT, DPT

Graduate: Northeastern University
Jared earned his B.S. in Biology from Lesley University where he was also on the school’s varsity soccer team. Jared has always had a passion for science, sports, and helping others and eventually, his passion allowed him to discover a career in physical therapy. Starting off working with Rob Melino in Arlington as a physical therapy aide, Jared discovered he was truly where he belonged. Jared continued his education and graduated from Northeastern University in May 2018 with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Throughout Physical Therapy school Jared developed a strong interest in orthopedics. As a physical therapist he firmly believes in mastering the foundations as it will allow patients to discover their full potential. Additionally, no matter where a patient is in his/her rehab process Jared will encourage his patients to challenge themselves every day and to take ownership of their physical therapy course.

Jared was raised in Rhode Island but has adopted the greater Boston area as his second home. Currently, he resides in Somerville with his wife, Laura. In his free time, Jared continues to play soccer on several recreational teams, rock climbs and enjoys working out, video games and doing anything to stay active. Jared is excited to work with the Bay State Physical Therapy community of Tewksbury.

In addition to physical therapy, Jared is a licensed personal trainer through NSCA and still trains clients at Boston Sports Club in Somerville. In January, Jared will also be offering blood flow restriction training/therapy at the clinic to further help patients make strength gains to meet their goals.
