Kaitlyn Krug, PT, DPT

Graduate: Northeastern University

Kaitlyn graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Indiana, PA with a Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training in 2015. During that time she worked with athletes at the high school and college level on injury prevention, sideline management of injuries, and return to sport care. She then continued her education at Northeastern University where she earned her DPT in May 2019.

Kaitlyn has a wide range of clinical experience in sports medicine, acute care, and orthopedic outpatient settings. Kaitlyn has also been a Massachusetts Licensed Athletic Trainer since 2016. Her Bay State experience initially started when she completed a clinical experience at BSPT Swampscott and BSPT Salem in the spring of 2018. She then joined the BSPT Swampscott team in spring 2019. She enjoys working with a wide range of orthopedic and sports injuries with a special interest in return to sport care.

In her free time Kaitlyn likes to stay active playing volleyball and softball, traveling, and hiking with her dog, Shiloh. Kaitlyn treats patients in the Swampscott clinic Monday through Friday.
