Philip is a physical therapist at Bay State Physical Therapy who works at Whittier Street Health Center in Boston. Philip speaks fluent Portuguese and Spanish and is originally from Brazil. Philip attended Franklin Pierce University, where he earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. While in school, he participated in various experiences such as outpatient, inpatient, and community physical therapy. Philip is an active participant in continuing education courses offered by American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Northeastern University, and Massachusetts General Hospital.

As an Everett, Massachusetts native, Philip is committed towards improving the health and well-being of all individuals in the community around Boston and the world. Philip has participated in community walking programs at Whittier Street Health Center in Boston and in Gilford, New Hampshire, coaches children with disabilities on how to play soccer during the springtime, participates with the “I Can Shine” program to help children with disabilities on how to ride modified bikes during April Vacation, and participated in a community program to treat disadvantaged communities in Granada, Nicaragua.
