Rafael P., PTA, is Physical Therapist Assistant with an associates degree from New England Institute of Technology. He is dedicated to helping patients achieve their goals through personalized exercise programs and evidence based physical therapy approaches. Rafael brings experience in sports medicine, outpatient care, post-surgical rehabilitation, acute and chronic pain management, and orthopedics. He strongly believes in the value of manual therapy combined with therapeutics exercises, with a strong emphasis on functional movement. Rafael views movement as medicine when paired with proper patient education, it drives meaningful improvement and helps prevent future injuries. His passion for physical therapy, began with a love for sports and weightlifting. Outside of work, Rafael is an avid sports fan who enjoys cooking, experimenting with new recipes, spending time with family and friends, weightlifting, and playing recreational sports.
