Maria F.

Maria F., PT, DPT, earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of New England in May 2026 after completing her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2023. Her passion for physical therapy began at a young age through her experience as a competitive gymnast for over a decade, where she saw firsthand the positive impact physical therapists can have in helping individuals return to the activities they love.

During her education, Maria gained valuable experience working with individuals across the lifespan in both outpatient orthopedic and inpatient rehabilitation settings. She is passionate about creating individualized treatment plans that help patients build confidence, improve function, and get back to the activities they enjoy. Outside of the clinic, Maria enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, trying new coffee shops, and spending time with family and friends.
