Joshua S., PT, DPT

Location: Bay State Physical Therapy- Sterling

Joshua Swain grew up in Lunenburg, MA and graduated from Springfield College with his Bachelor of Health Science in 2016 with a minor in Nutrition; followed by his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2018. He is also certified in Graston Technique for tissue mobilization. During his time at Springfield, he completed several volunteer trips as a Student Ambassador to the Caribbean and Central America.

Josh has focused on outpatient orthopedics since graduation. He enjoys working with athletes to transition them to long term prevention and fitness programs, with a specialty in throwing athletes. He has advanced training in spinal manipulation as well as vestibular rehabilitation.  Josh has completed the Orthopedic Specialty Series through Bay State PT; and is a credentialed Clinical instructor through the APTA. Josh became the Clinic Manager of the Sterling office in 2023.

In his free time, he enjoys hiking, traveling, and being outdoors with friends and family.
