Kristen N., PT, DPT, received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology Motor Behavior from Texas A&M University in 2007, and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2013. She was driven to become a Physical Therapist after experiencing PT for her own knee injuries in High School. She has a passion for working with people, is dedicated to evidenced base practice, and driven to provide quality care that improves patient experience and outcomes. Over the last 13+ years Kristen has worked primarily in the outpatient setting. Her clinical experience includes spine, orthopedics, TMJ, neurological and vestibular conditions.
Her special interest area is vestibular disorders and concussion. Kristen is also a Maitland Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist and understands the value of manual therapy in combination with exercise to improve patient outcomes. This unique combination of experience and education gives Kristen a distinctive approach to help patients maximize their functional mobility and reach their personal goals. Kristen relocated to the Beverly area 10+ years ago after 5 years in Boston. She was drawn to the coastline. Prior to that she resided in Texas for high school and college. She loves to travel and often goes back to the South to visits friends and family and to escape the cold. In her free time, she enjoys time with her busy family including her husband, two daughters, father, and two dogs. She jokes that her life is never dull, and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
