Robert P.
PT, DPT
Location: Bay State Physical Therapy – Warwick, RI
Graduate: Boston University
Robert earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst before completing his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Boston University. His interest in physical therapy grew from his own experiences as a runner, where frequent injuries sparked a desire to better understand movement, injury prevention, and recovery. Those experiences ultimately inspired him to pursue a career helping others return to the activities they enjoy.
Robert has been practicing physical therapy for over four years and enjoys treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions. His clinical interests include working with runners and endurance athletes, orthopedic rehabilitation, balance and deconditioning, and concussion management. He has completed additional training in running gait analysis and endurance coaching, allowing him to help runners improve performance, reduce injury risk, and safely return to training. He believes in a patient-centered approach that combines evidence-based treatment, education, and individualized care to help patients achieve their goals.
Outside of the clinic, Robert enjoys running, traveling, video games, and tabletop games. Robert and his wife Hannah are the proud owners of a cat named Wally, who is often described as “the perfect little man”.
