Vivian’s journey in occupational therapy began seven years ago when she started working as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. She found a genuine passion for helping people rediscover their purpose and regain their independence. She has learned how important it is to bring her full self into each session because rapport, encouragement, and trust can be just as powerful as any intervention.
Vivian’s experience in the field of OT has not only shaped her as a clinician but also inspired her to continue growing as a clinician. Recently, she completed her master’s degree to become an Occupational Therapist and is preparing to sit for her board exam. This step is a great continuation of the work she cares deeply about and reflects her commitment to providing the best care she can.
During Vivian’s clinical training, she had the opportunity to work at the Baystate Brockton Clinic, where she saw firsthand how meaningful this work can be and just how occupational therapy makes a difference in each person’s life. Vivian will always remember the moments when clients began to believe in themselves again when they gained confidence, made progress, and returned to the activities that matter most to them.
As she moves forward as an OTR, she will continue to support and advocate for her clients in a way that feels genuine and compassionate. Her goal is to help people not only improve physically, but also feel seen, supported, and capable of living full and meaningful lives.
