Tom M.
Location: Bay State Physical Therapy – Ipswich, MA
Graduate: University of Massachusetts Lowell
At UMass Lowell, Tom majored in Exercise Physiology and minored in Nutrition in 2019. He then continued his education at the university, and completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in the 2022. Tom also received his Level 1 Certification from the Titleist Performance Institute to better treat patients who golf.
Growing up playing various sports, he knew he wanted to choose a career that involved physical activity. This coupled with volunteering at a Hippotherapy program (physical therapy using horse riding) in high school for wounded warriors and children with disabilities made his path clear.
Tom believes in an individualized treatment plan that helps to empower patients to enhance their lives rather than alter their lives.
When he is not treating patients, Tom enjoys being active by doing archery, fishing, weightlifting, gardening, hiking, kayaking, and swimming.
