Veronica graduated from Northeastern University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2015 after receiving her B.S. in Rehabilitation Sciences in 2014. As of 2018, she is also an APTA board certified Orthopedic Specialist. She is originally from Stoughton, Massachusetts and first became interested in this discipline when she underwent physical therapy for an injury she sustained during her time on her high school cheerleading team. She went on to become a member of the Northeastern cheerleading team for 5 years, where she spent a lot of time helping her teammates through injuries occurring during practices and their follow-up care. She has clinical experience working in orthopedics, sports medicine, post-surgical rehab, and acute care. She has worked with a variety of patient populations and age groups. She is passionate about helping people maximize their function, and achieve their goals. Veronica is fluent in Portuguese and conversational in Spanish.
