Location: Bay State Physical Therapy – East Providence, RI

Lori D., PT, graduated from the University of New England with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Degree. At an early age, Lori knew she wanted to work in healthcare at some capacity. She was always very active with sports, so physical therapy seemed like a natural fit. In highs school, she injured her MCL while playing soccer and went through physical therapy as part of her treatment. After that experience, Lori decided she wanted to pursue a career as a Physical Therapist.

With 26 years of experience as a physical therapist, Lori has had the opportunity to work in a wide range of outpatient clinics, helping patients recover from injuries and improve their overall well-being. Since 2017, she has been practicing dry needling, a technique that helps alleviate pain and improve muscle function. Lori particularly enjoys treating patients with neck pain, headaches, and those involved in sports, where she can add her expertise to get her patients back to their daily lives and performance.

Outside of the clinic, Lori loves spending time with her family, especially when they are out on the water boating or on the golf course. These activities not only keep her active but also provide the perfect balance to her professional life.
