PT, DPT
Location: Bay State Physical Therapy – Boston-North Station, MA
Annabelle A., PT, DPT graduated from Northeastern University with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Prior to studying and practicing PT, Annabelle studied Biology with a concentration in Physiology at Emmanuel College.
Through Annabelle’s personal experiences and those of others, she saw Physical Therapy as an opportunity to empower individuals, build meaningful relationships, and encourage persistence. She values not only the ability to improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent injuries, but also the chance to develop strong bonds between Physical Therapist and patient.
Through Northeastern, Annabelle had the opportunity to complete a six-month co-op at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Charlestown, where she gained experience in inpatient acute rehab skilled services. Following this, she completed her clinical rotations at an outpatient Physical Therapy clinic, in school-based physical therapy, and in a skilled nursing facility. Annabelle enjoyed working with a wide array of age groups, from pediatrics to geriatrics, and appreciated the experience of working in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Annabelle hopes to be a coach and part of the support network that inspires and motivates her patients to never give up and persist on their journey toward better health and an improved quality of life, despite challenges.
In her free time, Annabelle enjoys photography, watching classic movies, reading, dancing, traveling, and staying active through activities like hiking, rowing, and kayaking.
