Courtney B.
PTA
Location: Bay State Physical Therapy – East Providence, RI
Courtney B., PTA, graduated from the New England Institute of Technology with an Associate of Science degree to become a Physical Therapist Assistant. Courtney chose to pursue a career as a PTA because she has a passion for helping people. She became intrigued with anatomy and biomechanics in her Undergraduate journey and thought the field of Physical Therapy would allow her to enjoy a blend of these interests. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, Courtney is able to positively impact the lives of others, generally and through their challenging recovery journeys, which is why she loves the job.
Courtney has extensive experience in orthopedic and outpatient settings, and her clinical interests include anything relating to the Lumbopelvic region, balance, and gait. However, she enjoys treating all patients, regardless of their diagnosis. Courtney wants all her patients to know that she is here for them and is excited to work with them one-on-one to achieve their long and short-term goals and to make their recovery as smooth as possible!
Outside of work, Courtney is a dog mom who enjoys spoiling her two pups, Zoey and Luna, and outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, and canoeing.
