Eugene “Geno” is a 2013 graduate of the Sacred Heart University Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program. He is an alumnus of Boston University, where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences. 

He has numerous years of experience working locally as a personal trainer as well as a number of unique experiences abroad. He spent a semester in Australia studying under the Manager of Athlete Performance at Sydney University where he worked with a variety of collegiate and professional level athletes with a focus on women’s basketball, men’s track and field, as well as rugby union and Aussie rules football. There he learned to specialize in the development of strength and conditioning programs as well as work intimately with the rehabilitation staff to provide patient-centered, sports-specific regimens to optimize player performance. As a student, Geno has had clinical experience in a wide range of specialized rehab settings in both MA and CT. 

Geno is certified in Dry Needling, Kinesiotape, the Graston Technique, and as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He utilizes myofascial release techniques, manual/manipulative therapies, and Mulligan “mobilization with movement” techniques, and will use a variety of clinical examination and intervention strategies based on the most current evidence to identify and treat your limitations in order to maximize your potential.
