Justine B is the Managing Partner of Bay State Physical Therapy – South End in Boston. She began her career with Bay State in 2015 and has enjoyed working with each patient to reach their fullest potential. Aside from achieving pain-free mobility, Justine works with each individual to ensure that they feel empowered throughout their rehabilitation process. She does this by providing education that helps each patient to understand why they may experience certain symptoms, and what they can do to reach their individual goals.

While she enjoys working with all individuals regardless of their specific limitations, Justine prides herself on working with folks of all genders who experience symptoms that may be related to pelvic floor dysfunction. Justine is a certified Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist and has completed all levels of the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Floor Provider Series (Level 1, Level 2A, Level 2B, and Capstone). Symptoms that may be treated with pelvic floor physical therapy include dyspareunia (pain with intercourse), urinary frequency and/or urgency, incontinence, bowel dysfunction, post-void dribbling, and pelvic pain.

Justine also specializes in working with men in their post-operative prostatectomy recovery to reduce urinary incontinence and pelvic dysfunction. It is imperative that each person feels safe throughout their treatment, and Justine continuously fosters a patient-therapist relationship based on trust and communication.

In addition to providing pelvic floor physical therapy, she also provides a variety of other services such as manual therapy, Graston Technique, Level 1 and Level 2 Dry Needling, cupping, and individualized therapeutic exercise to promote return to pain-free prior level of function for all orthopedic conditions.

Justine played soccer throughout her collegiate career at Simmons University and continues to play in local leagues. She enjoys running half and full marathons and completed the New York City Marathon in 2017 and 2018, and then ran her first Boston Marathon in 2022. She lives with her partner in Somerville, MA and enjoys finding new restaurants, breweries, and skiing every winter in Stowe VT.
