Kirsten S.
PTA
Location: Bay State Physical Therapy – Framingham, MA
Kirsten S., PTA played competitive college ice hockey, and going through rehabilitation from her own injuries, she knew the field of physical therapy was something she would love to pursue. Not only to help athletes return to their sports competitively, but to help people live and maintain a healthy and active lifestyle doing what they love; from returning to a sport or activity, to being able to keep up with their grandchildren.
Kirsten has various areas of clinical interest. She also has a Level 1 certification in HawkGrips Level 1 certification, which is a form of Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM).
She has worked for over 14 years as an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist assistant. Her accumulated years of experience as a clinician in addition to her personal injury and rehab experience allows her to easily connect with patients personally and can help to make patients feel at ease even when they have a tough case.
Kirsten continues to play ice hockey in local leagues/charity tournaments and enjoys softball, boating, wakeboarding, downhill skiing, and spending time and sharing all of these activities with her son, Liam.
