Matt M.
PT, DPT
Location: Bay State Physical Therapy – Westborough, MA
Graduate: Nazareth College
Matt joins the Bay State Physical Therapy team after receiving his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Nazareth College in Rochester, NY. During his time in school, Matt competed in both ice hockey and lacrosse at the collegiate level, while also earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science with a minor in Psychology. Matt was also instrumental in implementing strength and conditioning programs with each team during his time in NY. Matt’s professional interests stem from a passion in working with all orthopedic populations. He utilizes both manual therapy and therapeutic exercise to address and improve individualized deficits identified through an ongoing evaluation throughout each course of treatment. Matt believes strongly in improving and strengthening fundamental movement patterns, while also providing education and empowerment specific to each patient to expedite recovery and get each patient back to doing what they love, while reaching their goals in the process.
Outside of the clinic, Matt enjoys spending time with his family, teaching his three young nephews the passion and love for each game that he grew up playing, while also playing hockey, lacrosse, golf, and working out during his free time. Matt enjoys staying active in the community as well, as he has been fortunate enough to coach both hockey and lacrosse in recent years.
