Rachel M.
PT, DPT
Location: Bay State Physical Therapy – Abington, MA
Rachel M., PT, DPT graduated from University of Massachusetts Lowell with her Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Physiology and Simmons University with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She became a PT because she wants to help people move their bodies and live their life pain free, getting back to the things they love.
Rachel always knew she wanted to help people but was not sure how. When she began exploring different options in healthcare, PT sounded like the perfect option. Rachel was specifically interested in PT because they see patients the most compared to other clinicians and have the opportunity to build trust and relationships with patients to make a meaningful difference.
Prior to starting PT school, Rachel worked as a rehab aide. She then completed clinicals in many settings, including outpatient clinics, neuro clinics, SNIFs, and home care. She is also certified in dry needling and treats a variety of conditions, including post-surgical rehab and sports injuries.
Outside of the clinic, Rachel loves being with family, her husband and two golden retrievers, running, and being outside.
