Niketa J., BPTh, MPTh earned her bachelor’s in physical therapy from Pad. D.Y. Patil College of Physiotherapy in Navi Mumbai, India in 2010 and then completed her Masters in Neurological Physiotherapy at Seth G.S. Medical College and KEM hospital, Mumbai in 2013.
She is certified in Integrated Dry Needling and Neuro-development treatment (NDT) for treating pediatric patients. She worked in pediatrics for 1.5 years, then held a hospital-based position treating inpatient, outpatient, and ICU patients. Niketa also has experience in providing balance training and fall prevention for the geriatric population.
Since moving to the US, Niketa has worked in outpatient orthopedics. Some of her favorite clinical conditions of which to provide her services are orthopedic pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation, pediatric orthopedic and neurological physical therapy, acute sports injuries, vestibular therapy, and balance and falls.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family, including her 3-year-old son, reading books, binge watching tv shows, and painting.
