Erin F.
PT, DPT
Location: Bay State Physical Therapy – Westwood, MA
Erin L., PT, DPT is a graduate of Boston University’s Sargent College, where she received her Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy and had completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Lasell University.
While at BU, Erin gained experience treating in three different outpatient orthopedic clinics, where she saw a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, post-surgical care, and patients living with chronic pain. She completed a rotation at BU’s Center for Neurorehabilitation, helping patients with Parkinson’s disease and other neuromuscular conditions to improve their gait speed and balance to reduce fall risk. Her final experience was with Boston Ability Center, a pediatric outpatient clinic, where she worked with children aged 1-18 to address their gross motor milestones and promote independence with all daily activities through play.
Erin is passionate about working with patients across the lifespan, and is particularly interested in the overlap between neurological and orthopedic conditions. She is looking forward to establishing strong relationships with her patients at Bay State Physical Therapy – Westwood to help them engage in the activities they love without pain. Outside of the clinic, Erin loves exploring New England with her family and friends, and is always taking travel recommendations!
