Cara H., PT, DPT grew up in Scituate, MA and attended Quinnipiac University where she received her B.S. in Health Sciences and went on to receive her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. At Quinnipiac, Cara worked at the fitness center for four years. She became interested in pursuing a career in physical therapy after being a patient at a young age herself for various sports injuries.
Cara has been with Bay State Physical Therapy at the Weymouth Club since 2019. Her previous clinical experiences include multiple outpatient orthopedic settings, including BSPT, and an inpatient rehabilitation facility. She works with patients of all ages and treats all musculoskeletal conditions. She has a special interest in concussion/vestibular, joint replacements, and sports related injuries. Her passion for physical therapy started at a young age after multiple sports related injuries and concussions becoming a patient herself. Cara is certified in Dry Needling and an APTA credentialed clinical instructor who enjoys teaching doctorate level students from various schools. She is passionate about becoming a lifelong learner and takes continuing education courses to stay updated with the current evidence-based practices.
When not at work, Cara loves to spend time with her family, friends, and her dog Bruno. She enjoys spinning, outdoor biking, weight lifting, and rowing. She also is a football fan.
