Danica A., PTA, graduated from the Community College of Rhode Island with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assisting. Prior to earning her degree, she gained three years of valuable experience working as a Rehabilitation Aide in an outpatient setting. During her clinical education, she completed rotations in inpatient care, outpatient therapy, and pediatrics.
Born with congenital heart defects, Danica understands firsthand the importance of movement and exercise in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Her personal journey inspired her to pursue a career in physical therapy, where she could help others experience the benefits of mobility, strength, and independence. She has a special passion for working with pediatric patients and is dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized care that supports children and their families.
Outside of work, Danica enjoys snowboarding in the winter and going for walks to stay active and healthy!
