Emily Ciruolo

Emily C., PT, DPT, ATC

Location: Bay State Physical Therapy – Reading

Emily earned her B.S. in Athletic Training as well as her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University in Connecticut. Emily’s PT clinical experiences include working with a variety of patient populations in the outpatient orthopedic setting, as well as the acute care setting. She completed her final clinical rotation at BSPT in Reading and she is very excited to be back as a Staff Physical Therapist. As an Athletic Trainer, she has worked with many athletes at both the High School and D1 Collegiate levels.

Emily was first introduced to Physical Therapy as a young gymnast after having a coach that was also a PT. As an athlete herself, Emily sustained various injuries as a competitive gymnast and while snowboarding which led her to Physical Therapy as a patient. This sparked her interest to help patient’s return to the activities they enjoy.

Emily has a passion for working closely with patients of all ages to develop individualized rehabilitation goals and treatment plans to help them achieve their goals and return to the activities they love. Her clinical interests include orthopedics and manual therapy. She believes patient education is very important in ensuring optimal outcomes for each patient to improve their functional and overall quality of life. Outside of the clinic Emily enjoys traveling, snowboarding, spinning, and spending time with friends and family.
