Location: Bay State Physical Therapy – Reading, MA
Clinic Manager
Emmanuel (goes by Manny) received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. He continued and completed his postgraduate studies at the University of Massachusetts Lowell’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy program. He is licensed in the state of Massachusetts as a Physical Therapist.
Manny enjoys working in the orthopedic outpatient setting and has years of experience working with musculoskeletal conditions. His treatment style includes individualized uncomplicated exercise coaching and home exercise prescription (aimed to improve performance/function and prevent injury), manual therapies, and balance training. Manny tries to bring the inner athlete out of all his patients so they can maximize their functional lifestyle. Manny believes a successful physical therapy experience relies on effective patient education and communication so that patients are empowered after discharge. Manny developed a strong interest in physical therapy after being treated for various sports injuries.
In his free time, Manny enjoys world traveling, running, playing basketball, and tennis. Manny also considers himself a “foodie” so restaurant recommendations are required of all patients.
