Graduate: Northeastern University
Kayla graduated from Northeastern University where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May 2022 as well as her B.S. in Rehabilitation Sciences with a minor in Psychology. She has experience in a variety of settings, including outpatient orthopedics, cash-based physical therapy for dancers and circus artists, acute care, and inpatient rehabilitation. One of her main clinical interests is general orthopedics with a specific interest in treating performing artists. She values utilizing evidence-based practice, a holistic approach, and individualized plans of care to help her patients achieve their goals and return to their passions.
While at Northeastern University, Kayla was the Director of Kinematix Dance Troupe and a choreographer for and member of Northeastern University Dance Company. She has a background in various dance styles, ranging from ballet to hip-hop, as well as teaching and choreographing. She enjoys dancing, yoga, working out, trying new restaurants, cooking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family in her free time.
