Matt grew up in Syracuse, New York. He graduated from Boston University with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy after receiving a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, also from Boston University. Prior to starting PT school, he worked for at a geriatric research center as a Bioengineer/Research Associate on research studies involving gait, balance, cardiovascular measures, functional outcomes, and falls. This experience, along with exposure to physical therapy from a variety of sports injuries throughout his life, led to his desire to pursue a career in physical therapy.
Matt’s interests range from orthopedics and sports rehab to geriatrics and vestibular rehab. His clinical experiences include outpatient orthopedic, outpatient neurological, and acute care inpatient settings. He enjoys working with patients of all ages and blending skills from his background and experiences to help patients optimize their overall functional abilities.
Matt grew up playing competitive soccer and continues to participate in amateur soccer leagues throughout the Boston area. Although originally from the state of NY, he is a dedicated Boston sports fan. He also enjoys skiing, golfing, reading, volunteering with dog shelters, and going on adventures with his wife and rescue dog.
