Megan is a Doctor of Physical Therapy practicing in the South Boston clinic; she began her career with Bay State in July of 2022. She has enjoyed working with a wide variety of patients with various orthopedic injuries. Megan received her undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2018 with a Bachelors in Kinesiology and minor in Psychology. In her time at Umass, Megan also interned with the football athletic training team allowing her to treat on site injuries, travel for games, and work with athletes on full return to sport. She then went on to attain her Doctorate in Physical Therapy with a concentration in Sports Medicine from Northeastern University. Megan has always had an interest in sports, growing up in gymnastics and then cheerleading at the D1 colligate level at Umass. Megan first became interested in physical therapy following a shoulder injury in which she spent months with a PT to return to sport. She has a special interest in helping athletes of all ages and levels to return to what they love doing, from colligate football to Volo pickleball. Outside of work you can find her exploring new restaurants in the city, going to country concerts, and supporting all the New England sports teams. Megan enthusiastically strives to provide high quality, individualized, and culturally competent care to her patients and is looking forward to continuing her career with the team at Bay State PT- South Boston!
