Melissa has worked at Bay State Physical Therapy since 2014 and is the Clinic Manager of the Beverly location. She is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She earned her doctoral degree from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2013 after studying Kinesiology at the University of Massachusetts- Amherst.
Melissa’s clinical background is primarily in outpatient orthopedics. She enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions with emphasis on shoulder pain, rotator cuff repairs, joint replacement surgeries, shoulder stabilization, and ACL reconstruction. Melissa strongly believes in empowering clients to achieve their fitness goals and prevent future injury.
Melissa lives in Gloucester with her husband, son, and Goldendoodle named Barley. In her spare time she enjoys running, traveling, playing board games, and spending time with friends.
