Mike Riccardi ., PT, DPT, FAFS, CSCS

Location: Bay State Physical Therapy – Taunton Winthrop St.

Graduate: Springfield College

Mike Riccardi, PT, DPT, FAFS, CSCS grew up on Long Island, just outside NYC.  After tearing his ACL while playing soccer he decided he wanted to become a physical therapist to help people get back to what they enjoy doing.  Since then, he has become more of an advocate for proactively preventing injuries as opposed to dealing with them after they happen.

Mike attended Springfield College for both his undergraduate and graduate studies.  While there, Mike played soccer for two years before focusing more on his class work.  He graduated with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2014.

Upon graduation, Mike began working in NYC at Finish Line PT where he specialized in running analysis and treating marathon runners / endurance athletes.  While there, Mike completed the Fellowship of Applied Functional Science through the Gray Institute.

Next, Mike moved up to New England with his wife, Lauren, and began working in Pawtucket, RI before moving to MA and eventually finding Bay State PT.  In June of 2018 their first son was born followed by their second son in September of 2019.
