Mollie Frederiksen, PT, DPT

Graduate: MGH Institute of Health Professions

Margaret “Mollie” Frederiksen, PT, DPT graduated magna cum laude from Mount Holyoke College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance and received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from MGH Institute of Health Professions. Her clinical background is primarily in pediatrics, working with children with a variety of physical and developmental needs as well as with adolescent athletes.

Mollie initially became interested in pursuing a career in physical therapy following a string of dance injuries while performing in college. This led her to intern with the Boston Ballet School and Walnut Hill School for the Arts physical therapy team for two consecutive summers. She enjoys using her dance experience to connect with her patients, whether is it through assisting with adaptive dance classes or treating dancers, gymnasts, and figure skaters of all ages.  Mollie is passionate about working closely with her patients to meet their goals and make their PT experience highly individualized. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science (IADMS).

Mollie grew up locally and now lives in Beverly. She continues to dance and perform regularly and enjoys karaoke with her friends.  She currently has one cat, but has room for more!
