Patricia A., PT, DPT

Location: Bay State Physical Therapy – Wrentham

Graduate: Sacred Heart University

Patty is a 2011 graduate of Syracuse University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Pre-Medicine. She then earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Sacred Heart University in 2014.

During her time at Sacred Heart University, Patty completed four clinical rotations in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including Lepre Physical Therapy, The Miriam Hospital, Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, and Mass Sport and Spine. Through her various clinical experiences, she was exposed to a wide range of complex musculoskeletal and neurological patient cases. This exposure has led her to gain a solid foundation on the complexity of musculoskeletal injuries and how to develop the most effective treatment approach for each of her patients. Patty utilizes a patient-centered approach to care, which incorporates physical, social and psychological aspects that are crucial to the patient in order to reach their optimal level of function.

As a former athlete and physical therapy patient herself, Patty understands the demands of competitive sports and the significance of rehabilitation in order to prevent re-injury and return to sport. On her free time, Patty enjoys staying active, watching college basketball (Go ‘Cuse!), and spending time with family and close friends.
