PT, DPT
Location: Bay State Physical Therapy – Boston - Dimock Street, MA and Bay State Physical Therapy – Boston-North Station, MA
Lizzie graduated from Simmons University in Boston, MA with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree. Prior to studying and practicing physical therapy, Lizzie studied Biology at Providence College. While in school at Simmons, she worked in multiple settings including outpatient orthopedic, outpatient vestibular and neuro specialties, and inpatient acute care and oncology.
Her interest in the human body and love for learning lead to a GA position in the anatomy lab for Simmons DPT program at Harvard Medical where she continues to help teach as adjunct faculty. Her belief in evidence-based practice allowed her to pursue an interest in research, and she presented a poster presentation on a Systematic review which she co-authored at the 2024 CSM convention in Boston.
Lizzie enjoys working in both the inpatient and outpatient settings, with a wide array of acute conditions, sports and orthopedic injuries, as well as neurological and vestibular pathologies. Lizzie utilizes a balance of manual therapy, therapeutic exercises and activities, neuromuscular re-education, patient education, and modalities in her practice.
In her free time, she enjoys participating and watching sports, reading, traveling especially some place sunny, and staying active with running, hiking, paddle boarding, etc.
