John C.
PT, DPT
Location: Bay State Physical Therapy – Leicester, MA
John C., PT, DPT graduated from Mercy University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science before going on to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy from D’Youville University in 2025. A lifelong athlete, John was a multi-sport competitor and played NCAA Division II lacrosse while at Mercy University. Years of competitive sports gave him firsthand experience with aches, pains and injuries-which ultimately sparked his passion for physical therapy, performance, and long-term health.
Before starting his professional journey as a DPT, John volunteered as an EMT in his hometown for two years after graduating high school. Working alongside emergency response teams during critical situations furthered his desire to pursue a career in the medical field. John is deeply committed to helping others move and feel their best. He believes in working collaboratively with his patients—motivating and empowering them to reach their full potential, while addressing and relieving their pain. Outside of work, you’ll find John playing lacrosse, cheering on the Bills or out enjoying the outdoors- whether it’s hiking, snowboarding or kayaking. He’s also a huge animal lover, and if you ask, he’ll be more than happy to show you pictures of his two dogs, Hunter and Bow!
