Location: Bay State Physical Therapy – Weymouth, MA
Julie grew up in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. She first became interested in physical therapy after playing soccer and lacrosse in high school and developing a passion for science in high school anatomy class. She’s excited to further develop her manual skills and is interested in continuing to gain experience with aquatic PT!
Julie’s clinical experience includes a wide variety of unique settings, including acute care, school based, and outpatient private practice. Through these experiences she has had the chance to work with patients of all ages, from 4 months to 97 years old! Julie enjoys challenging herself and working with different populations to keep constantly learning. She believes in the biopsychosocial model of care and treating the whole person, to help her patients achieve their maximal potential.
Julie’s interests outside of work include spending time at her family’s lake house in the summer, hiking, skiing, traveling, and trying out new restaurants in Boston!
Julie’s philosophy: “Don’t be afraid. Be focused. Be determined. Be powerful. Be hopeful.”- Michelle Obama
