Katherine is originally from Stoughton, MA. She received her B.S. in Kinesiology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and then attended Boston University where she graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in May of 2020.
Katherine has been with Bay State Physical Therapy at the Weymouth Club since 2020. Her other previous clinical experiences include outpatient orthopedics and inpatient rehabilitation specifically in the skilled nursing facility setting. She works with patients of all ages, and with various musculoskeletal conditions. She has a special interest in aquatic therapy, which helps to facilitate the treatment of patients with all ability levels. Katherine is an APTA credentialed Clinical Instructor, she finds passion in educating and working with doctorate-level students from various schools around New England. Katherine works closely with the interdisciplinary team which includes on-site chiropractors, nutritionists, personal trainers, and massage therapists. Katherine is dedicated to lifelong learning, participating in regular professional continuing education opportunities to maximize her skill set and remain in line with current evidence-based practices.
Katherine loves to spend time with her family, friends, and her Wheaten Terrier puppy, Charlie. She enjoys spending time outdoors, working out, traveling, trying new restaurants, and cheering on Boston’s sports teams!
