The Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC)

Pan-Mass-Challenge

As a part of the Marketing Department for Bay State Physical Therapy, we have been involved with the Official Physical Therapy Sponsorship of the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) since the beginning. For the past two years, we have participated in the fundraising efforts as well as the expos on the big weekend of the event. We look forward to this event every year and are equally as excited to support #PMCReimagined

We are super impressed by the adaptability of the PMC to reimagine the ride and still give us the opportunity to participate virtually. We were worried the event wouldn’t happen due to the current environment, but we know it will be just as great of a success as it has always been. Although we have yet to participate in the ride itself, we have experienced conversations and connections with PMC riders at previous expos that have given us a firsthand experience of the amount of love and support that surrounds this remarkable cause every year. There have been many occasions when a rider has approached our table at the expo to thank us for the excellent care they received at one of our clinics. We love knowing that our physical therapists have helped so many members of our communities in their journey to a pain free ride in the PMC.

The opening ceremony for the PMC in Sturbridge, MA is a moving experience that we won’t soon forget. We have been fortunate enough to experience the energy and commitment involved in raising funds for cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Through #PMCReimagined, we are still seeing the immense impact this annual bike-a-thon has within its communities.

Bay State Physical Therapy has a riding team consisting of eight members who will represent our company during this year’s reimaged ride. The team will participate in a 100-mile bike ride on August 1st, 2020.  Since the expos are not taking place this year, the Marketing Team will be supporting and cheering the riders on at our BSPT clinics as they pass through along their route. It has been amazing to watch our riding team grow each year and hope to join it in the future! Looking forward to the big weekend in just a few short weeks!
